There are many great film festivals across the state of Georgia and North Florida. We encourage all our filmmakers and students to check these out.
| Atlanta Film Festival Georgia’s largest Academy Award qualifying film festival and creative conference takes place annual at the end of April / beginning of May at the Plaza Theater | Atlanta Film Festival Celebrating 35 years, the Florida Film Festival, an Oscar qualifying festival, takes place in Mid-April at the Ezian Theater in Central Florida | Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) Over two decades, the Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) has screened films at the DeSoto theater in Rome, GA. | Macon Film Festival Celebrating over 20 years of Music and Film, the immersive film festival takes place Mid-August at the Douglas Theater, along with Museum of Arts and Sciences Macon. |
