We are temporarily unable to accept payment through FilmFreeway, but we need to start accepting films for the 2025 South Georgia Film Festival, March 7, 8, & 9.
Currently, anyone using FilmFreeway can submit, but we will have to reject & refund anyone who submits without a waiver we’ve provided until circumstances change. If we simply posted that all submissions were free, we will be overwhelmed by some filmmakers and disregarded by others.
We are reaching out specifically to film festival alums, filmmakers we know through other filmmakers & other festivals, as well as filmmakers connected to regional organizations and schools with unique* waiver codes. If you apply to any of those categories, feel free to share us with other filmmakers who might find a good fit with us. However, at this time, we can only accept 1 film per filmmaker.
As of now – please use the following codes as Entry Fee Waivers NOT Deadline Waivers.

If we are able to process payment before our deadline, we will open submissions up to EVERYONE.
Because we will be losing out on hundreds of dollars in submission fees, we do ask that if possible to make a donation to the South Georgia Film Festival here. Traditionally, we have used submission fees to help guest presenters and feature filmmakers attend.
